Hello everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well and creating fall crafty projects!

My project for you today features products from

Give Thanks Eat Pie Stamp Set

Aqua Pigments

This card was fun to put together.  I had something completely different in mind

when I started!  Let me show you how I made this card!

I first took a piece of Strathmore 5" x 7" hot press watercolor paper and taped it

to my hardboard.  Starting in the middle of the panel I brushed on Yellow Aqua

Pigments, then Yellow Orange on either side and then finally some Brown on

the ends.

To get this nice gradation of color I didn't wet my paper first.  I simply took a

flat paintbrush and worked the pigments back and forth across my panel.  I

left it to dry naturally.  I had no warping.  Next I heat embossed my images,

twice, using Golden Gourd Embossing Powder.  I use this as a gold for all

my fall cards.  Its gorgeous!

I die cut the sentiment and the extra pecans with a 1 1/2" stitched

hexagon die.  I painted all of my images with the Aqua Pigments.

I mostly used the Yellow Orange and Brown.  I made a mini slimline

card base from some mustard card stock.  I cut a panel of plaid

paper from the Playful Plaid Collection and cut it 1/4" smaller

than the base.  I backed the plaid piece with some rich red card

stock and adhered that between the base and plaid paper.

I splattered my painted panel with a rich gold watercolor and then trimmed it to 

2 1/4" x 5 1/2" and adhered it to the card.  I fussy cut my pie slices and pecans. I 

foam taped the sentiment to the middle of the card.  I foam taped the pie slices on 

either side of the sentiment.  Then I used 3 of the pecans and adhered them flat.

I used gold holo confetti and a bit of Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze on the pecans.

And that finished my card!

This card took some twists and turns but I love how it came out!  Easy

Hello everyone!  The leaves where I live are just starting to turn as the

temps start to get cooler.  Today I'm bringing you more fall

inspiration with products from

Brutus Monroe

Glitter Glaze

True confession, I made a card prior to this one and it came out so awful

it could not be saved!  😞  So, I went back to something a bit more

different and I love how it turns out.  Let me show you how I made my

card!  I first cut a piece of plaid paper from the Playful Plaid Paper

Collection and trimmed it to 4" x 5 1/4".  Using my Stick & Stamp Mat

I stenciled this piece using the Autumn Branches Stencil and Tangerine

Glitter Glaze.  This particular plaid is so pretty with the Tangerine Glitter!

You can see my Stick & Stamp Mat has seen cleaner days!  I keep one

especially for working with Glitter Glaze and other shiny stuff.  I have

another one for inks that clean up nicely.  😉. While that was drying,

I stamped out my images from the Fall Florals Stamp Set.  I used

Chroma Mists to paint them.  I heat embossed them onto watercolor paper

using a brown pigment ink and clear embossing powder.  This was a

 hot press watercolor paper so it's smooth and easy to cut.

 For Chroma Mist colors I used:  Yellow Green, Candy Apple Red,

Tangerine Orange, Leaf Green, Yellow Green and Bumblebee

Yellow.  I used more than one color on each element.  When 

these were dry, I fussy cut them.

I also took a Q-tip and made random dots around my wreath 

with the Tangerine Glitter Glaze just as a fill in. 

 These didn't take long to dry. I heat embossed my sentiment from the Fall 

Florals Stamp Set with a dark brown.   I made a top folding card base

from Whitewash Card Stock and added a orange panel that was 1/8" 

smaller all around.  I adhered my now dried stenciled panel.

I foam taped one of the big maple leaves and the 2 Chinese lanterns onto

the lower left of the stenciled wreath.  Just using liquid glue I tucked in

the rest of the elements.  For a finishing touch, I used both gold and turquoise

confetti.  And that finished my card!

This card really came out sweet and I love the turquoise with all of

the yellow and orange...only in the autumn!!!!!  You may purchase

Hello everyone!  Time for autumn inspired cards!  YAY!  Today I'm using

products from

Brutus Monroe

Chroma Glaze

This was lots of fun to make and gave me a chance to use some alcohol ink!

Let me show you how I made my card.

I first cut a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square of Lunch Bag card stock.  I put it on my

Stick & Stamp Mat and, using the Wood stencil, I stenciled the panel with

Orange Chroma Glaze.  I set that aside to dry.

When it was completely dry, I inked the edges with Simon Hurley's

Weeping Willow Ink.

Using 3 different pieces of mirror car stock, in gold, copper, and rose

gold, I die cut all 5 leaves of the Fall Leaf Die Cut Set.  I had 15 total.

I laid them out and then applied alcohol ink to them using 2 shades of

orange, cranberry and dark brown varying the color combinations.

I took my stenciled panel and adhered it to an A2 size top folding card base

of Lunch Bag card stock that had a piece of darker brown card stock adhered

to it.  I placed my leaves around 3 edges - top, left and bottom.  Once

they were all adhered I trimmed them.

I stamped my sentiment from the No Place Like Fall Add-On Stamp Set

and dark brown embossing powder.

I trimmed it and adhered it along the middle of the right side.  I added

gold confetti to finish my card!

Bowl of Strawberries with Brutus Monroe

 

Hello everyone!  As the last of summer slips away from us I am sharing one

more luscious strawberry card using products from

Brutus Monroe

Chroma Mists

I love the color combo of red, white and turquoise!  So clean and fun!  Let me

show you how I made my card.

I started with my background panel.  I used a piece of Lagoon card stock and

the Basket Weave Stencil.  I cut the panel bigger than I needed and stenciled

with Opal Chroma Glaze.  This is a great way to add texture and dimension

without adding more color.

I chose the elements from the Strawberry Social Stamp Set for my card

and stamped them onto watercolor paper.

I used Choma Mists to paint my images.  I used Candy Apple Red for the

strawberries.  Yellow Green was used for the strawberry tops. 

 For the bowlI painted stripes using Turquoise and a touch of the Yellow Green.  

I mixed it once and painted the top and bottom stripe.  This really was too blue

so I added more of the green and painted over them.

I didn't painted the whipped cream at all. I fussy cut my images. I created a white A2 size

 card base with the fold along the top.  I cut a piece of red card stock that is 4" x 5 1/4".

I cut my stenciled panel to 3 3/4" x 5" and adhered both of those to the white

card base.  I made my sentiment using white card stock.  I stamped the

sentiment in black ink and then added red die cut card stock behind that.

  I cut a thin strip of white card stock and layered that on top of a die

cut scalloped piece of red card stock.  To adhere my bowl of strawberries

only the extra whipped cream piece is adhered flat to the card.  I added

the double strawberry piece to the top of the pile of strawberries and

 foam taped the entire bowl piece to the right side of the card over the

striped border.  I added the extra strawberry at the bottom on top of

the bowl on foam tape.  I added some iridescent confetti and Fallen

Snow Glitter Glaze to the berries.  I adhered a red acrylic heart under

the sentiment and my card was done!
