Summer Garden Veggie Cuties ft. Kate Hadfield Designs

Hello everyone!  Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!  It
seems to never last long enough.  Today I'm sharing a very
cute garden veggie card.  I'm using products from

I sized my images in my computer.  I often do this by printing it

out onto copy paper for size purposes, adjust if needed, then

print it onto white card stock.  I then use the piece of copy

paper to ink blend or whenever I need something underneath

of what I’m working on.

I made my card base by die cutting the largest of a nested

fancy die set and adhering it to a white card base.

Then I used a die that was several sizes

smaller from the die set to cut the focal panel out of white

before coloring.

I started with the carrot…so cute!

Next I moved onto coloring the pea pod.  Again, so stinkin' cute!

I die cut the sentiment using white card stock and a 1 ¾”

scalloped circle die.  Then I chose 2 colors from the markers I

used on the veggies…pickinga mid-tone from each family and colored

the “together”.  added an enamel heart at the top of the circle.  I foam

taped the focal panel on and the added a few little

pieces of foam tape to 2 of the edges as it overlaps the

focal panel.  I used liquid glue to the rest of the back

of the sentiment so it would lay down flat.  I added

some small gems in both green and orange and that

finished this adorable card!

I hope you give this card a try.  It was super easy –

minimal coloring and 2 die cut panels & a sentiment.  If

you do, please tag us on social media…we love to see what

you are making!!!
