Seal Fun Theo Penguin w/Polkadoodles

Hello everyone!  Winter is almost here so today I'm sharing this
adorable card project using products from

Besides using the digital stamp from this set, I also used one of the
paper packs - Theo Penguin Paper Bundle 4 and the sentiments - Theo
Penguin Greetings/Sentiments.  I learned a new-to-me technique for
this digitally stamped card!  Let me show you how I made it!
I chose my background paper first.  This is where the new technique
was.  I sized the background and then, using Artistic Effects in
WORD, I was able to fade the edges of the background paper.  I love
how this looks!  And the added bonus is, you control
how much fading! Then I positioned my Theo stamp on top of that along
with the sentiment.

I used a die to cut it out and it measures 4" x 5 1/4".  I made an
A2 top folding card base of a matching blue.

The coloring was minimal with this image.  I started with Theo's hat.

Copic colors used:  BG00, BG01, BG07,C2, C3, C5,E71, E75, W1, W2,
W3, W5, Y38, Y15, RV00,
Spectrum Noir Tri-blend - Lavender Blend,
Altenew Artist Marker B204, Sliver glitter gel pen

I used Contour from Stamperia for the fluffy parts of the Theo's hat.  I
colored the fish in the hole with the silver glitter gel pen.  Also
with the glitter gel pen I made some dots in the background.  I also used
clay snowflakes and gemstones.

I hope I've inspired you today to make your own card projects with
Theo Penguin and his pals!  And, if you use WORD to compose your
images, I hope I've given you a helpful tip!  You can find this stamp
and so many more at

Til next time...

In my capacity as a temporary design team member for Polkadoodles, I do receive the products I use from them.

All opinions and creative decisions remain my own, and I only work with companies/use products that I love.
