The Pumpkin Patch ft. Kate Hadfield Designs

Hello everyone!  As fall continues to show off it’s rich

colors, I’m bringing you a pumpkin patch card to celebrate the last of

the fall season.  I'll be using products from

Kate Hadfield Designs

Pick of the Patch digital stamp set

Pumpkins are so pretty in the fall, so I love creating card projects
featuring them.  Let me show you how I made this card!

This card was really quite simple.  I composed my elements

in the computer and printed them off.  I die cut it into a panel for the

front of my card using a die from my stash. I had a plan for the

coloring so I started off by coloring each element in the

lightest shade I would use.

My plan was to shade my elements just using 2 colors of

markers and not blend.  Sometimes this is called story

book coloring.  The shading is there – it’s just simplified.

I adhered the colored panel to the front of my A2 size card.

I used chalk (with an applicator) and stencil to make the sky.

My stencil was clouds and it had clouds all around the edge

of it.  I used a really pale blue chalk for this.  I added some

green and orange Enamel Accents. And I added a rub-on

flag banner on the left top.  And that finished my card!

This was so quick to work up thanks to the coloring technique

I used.  If you use this technique on a card, tag us on social

media because we love to see what you are creating!  The

products I used are available at
