Groovy Grid with Brutus Monroe

Hello everyone!  Today I'm bring you this very mod card with products from

Oh my goodness!  I had such a blast with this stencil.  The further along I went
with my project the more '60's vibe came through!  Let me show you how I
made my card today.  I started with a piece of paper from the Sealife Paper
Collection, the yellow dot.  I cut it down to 4 1/4' x 5 1/2".  I knew I would
want to be cutting it down for the final card.  I mounted this on my Stick &
Stamp Mat.

I laid the Groovy Grid 6 x 6 Stencil over this and stenciled using Pink
Chroma Glaze.  I am always amazed at this product.  It goes on so milky
looking but when it's dry it just has this great translucent effect.

I also used the Hawaiian Shirt Stencil on some pink card stock so I could cut
 out the flowers.

You can see on the pink flowers, the edges have started to dry and how much
bolder and brighter the color is!  I waited for these panels to dry and there
was such a punch of color!

I love how the grid came out rather orange on the yellow dotted paper.  I
next fussy cut the flowers leaving a narrow pink border.

I made an A2 size
card base using Buttercream card stock, next was the sheet of pink dotted
paper from the SeaLife Paper Collection and then the stenciled panel on top of that.

I used the Slim Line Sentiments Dies and for the shadow layer I used the
Yellow dot paper and the pink dot paper for the actual letters.

I adhered the sentiment with foam tape and the flowers I adhered stright
to the background but only in the center.  This allowed me to lift up the
edges of them.  Each flower has a 1/4" orange gem in the middle.  As
a last bit of embellishment, I used Fallen Snow Glitter Glaze and put
some on the letters (with a Q-tips) and on some of the edges of the
flower petals.

And that finished my Groovy Grid card project!

I hope you enjoyed today's project!  So colorful with lots of texture from
the Chroma Glaze.  You can purchase the products I used from

Thanks so much for coming by today!
