Count Me In with Texture with Joy Clair Designs

Hello everyone!  Today I''ll be sharing this really easy digitally stamped card with lots of texture.  I'm going to be using products from

This is such a pretty image.  I've kept mine simple today so let me show you how I made my card!  I first started by composing, sizing, changing the color of and printing the design with a sentiment.

My paper is 90lb. watercolor paper bought on Amazon.  It goes through my printer nicely.  I decided to use the Tropicals Palette from Prima Marketing for my watercolors.  I put a light layer of paint on to begin with and let it dry.

I tried to vary the colors as I was painting.  All of the leaves of one type were painted the same way.  Another set of leaves was painted another way, etc. until everything was painted.

To give some dimension I went in with a darker color and for the leaves painted the lined side of them the darker color.  For the flowers, using a small round brush, I drew lines with the darker paint coming out from the center of each of the flowers..

Once this panel was completely dry, using a gold glitter gel pen I went over the 2 lines in the middle.  Then I fussy cut the image.

I also used the gold glitter pen for the flower centers.  To prepare my card base I used a white top folding A2 size base.  I placed a panel of gold glitter card stock on the front leaving a very narrow border of the white card stock.  I then took a piece of green card stock and used a pierced cover plate die.  The design is leafy and just leaves a nice pierced design.  I adhered my painted panel with foam and as a last embellishment I added tiny gold foil pearls.

This was very easy to create and I think the effect is soft and lovely.  Look for the Count Me In digital stamp set along with other beautiful designs at

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I appreciate you!
