Whimsy Stamps + Brutus Monroe!

Hello everyone!  So excited to be sharing in this collaboration with

Whimsy Stamps
and

What fun to mix and match brands!  Let me show you how I combined
products from Whimsy Stamps and Brutus Monroe to make a stunning
winter thank you!
My card started as out as something different, but it kept morphing into
other lay-outs!  My original plan was to have an acetate overlay on the
front of the card.  So, we'll begin there.  I stamped the Snowflake Frame
from Whimsy Stamps onto a piece of heat-resistant acetate.  I heat
embossed it and used Sterling Sparkle Embossing Powder from Brutus
Monroe.  Using a piece of paper from Whimsy Stamps' Blurry Flurries,
I stamped the same stamp with Alabaster Embossing Powder from
Brutus Monroe.

I die cut one of the snowflakes from Snow Scenes Stamp and Die
Set from Brutus Monroe.  I used Silver Glitterstock to die cut the
snowflake and a scrap of the Blurry Flurries paper for the circle in
the middle.  I quickly realized because my acetate warped during heating,
My plan was not going to work.  I decided to simply cut out some of the
snowflakes from the acetate and adhere them to the paper panel with
the same stamp on it.  However, before I did that, I ink blended the
edges just to give a bit of definition with Simon Hurley's Breakup Blue ink.

I snipped out 5 of the acetate snowflakes and adhered them to the
corresponding snowflakes on my card panel.

I adhered some Sparkletz in December Dream from Whimsy Stamps.  I
basically enhanced more of the snowflakes that were stamped.  For my snowflake
focal, I added some holes with my hole punch just to give the die cut
snowflake a bit of airiness.  I heat embossed my sentiment from the

It fits inside the frame created by the stamp so perfectly!  I did
have to cut my sentiment stamp so it would fit properly.  I added a
few of the gems/snowflake mix to this sentiment piece.

I adhered the snowflake part flat to the card and the sentiment piece
I popped up on foam tape.  My card base is a stared A2 size top folding
card base made with Whitewash card stock from Brutus Monroe.  As
a final embellishment I liberally dabbed on Glitter Glaze in Fallen
Snow from Brutus Monroe.  And that finished my card!

@brutusmonroe and @whimsystamps are taking their collab to the
