Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing another beautiful digistamp
set from the April 2021 Release from:
Rachel Vass Designs
Spring Border Delight
There is so much you can do with this set...like repeat the design for
a slimline card! The Design Team has been busy with this one! So
many different ways to use this!
I was inspired by some paper for this card. Memory Box has come out
with some beautiful plaid papers - I love plaid. It's the Madras Plaid
Blue and Violet Double-sided papers. But first I composed my design
in the computer and printed it out onto Neenah 80lb Classic Crest
Solar White card stock.
I chose the plaid paper I wanted to use, but it was on the side
that was not foiled. All of these papers are foiled on one side only.
I really loved the foiling - so I made my own by
using peel-offs from Love From Lizi.
This was so easy to do with straight lines of the plaid! Next I
moved on to coloring my stamped panel.
I knew that Copics would give me the clean intensity of color
that I was looking for.
I color matched the flowers to the plaid paper by swatch testing
and holding the swatches against the paper.
I had thought about coloring the background, but there is just the
tiniest amount of white in the plaid so I left it uncolored.
Copic Colors used:
Green: YG00, YG11, YG03
Purple: BV000, BV00, BV02
Blue: BG000, BG01, BG13
I covered a white top folding A2 size card base and completely
covered it with the plaid paper. I cut my main image to
3 1/2" x 3 1/2" and foam mounted it onto the card base. I
die cut my banner and adhered that with foam tape. As a
bit of bling I added tiny iridescent gems!
I hope you've enjoyed this project today! I love the color matching
process so much! You can find this digistamp set and the rest of
the new release at:

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope I've inspired
you to create something beautiful!
