October Challenge with Jan's Digisstamps Challenges Blog

Hello everyone!  It's time for a new challenge at Jan's Digistamps Challenge Blog!
Today I'm bringing you inspiration from the

Let me show you how I made my card with this beautiful digistamp set!
I first used the background stamp and sized it to an A2 size card.  I also composed
my pumpkins and my sentiment and I printed it all out onto Neenah 100lb.
Desert Storm card stock.  Yes, I planned on using this card stock for the entire
card, but I'll change my mind later on!

I decided to use Faber-Castell Polychromos colored pencils to color my pumpkin
collage with.

Polychromos colors used:

Red Pumpkin:  117, 223, 225
White Pumpkins:  172, 174
Green Pumpkin:  172, 174, 278
Orange Pumpkins:  111, 113, 118, 225
All Stems:  271, 178

After coloring this image, I fussy cut it out and it was at this point that I realized
that the background was not going to work.  So I looked through my stash of
papers and found an orange that was not too bright and had a subtle pattern on
it.  I changed the color of my background in the computer and then printed it
out onto the orange paper.

I next trimmed out my sentiment and chose my background card stock and made
an A2 size top folding card.  I die cut my printed panel with a dotted rectangle
die and it measures 4" x 5 1/4".

I first adhered the printed background panel to the card base.  Then I adhered
my pumpkin piece using foam tape.  I decided to ink blend around the edges of
the sentiment so it wouldn't get lost.  I used Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide
Ink to do this.

I adhered this to the card with foam tape.  I added some tiny metallic orange
sequin bits and my project was done!

This is a great autumn stamp set to add to your digistash!  You can find this
