Autumn Border with Rachel Vass Designs

Hello everyone!  It's New Release Day at

Rachel Vass Designs

Autumn Border

This is another great set from Rachel.  Beautiful sentiments and a variety of ways
to use this set!

I first composed my image and sentiment on the computer and then printed it out
onto Neenah 100lb. Desert Storm card stock.

I love the look of colored pencils on kraft card stock.  Fall colors seem to
really pop nicely on it.  I used my Prismacolors for this card.

Prismacolor Pencils used:

Berries:  1009, 996, 034, 208, 195
Evergreen Boughs:  208
Yellow Leaves:  916, 1003, 922, 1030
Orange/Red Leaves:  921, 923, 924, 1030, 1095, 923
Burgundy Leaves:  195, 925, 944, 1078, 1009

Once the coloring was completed, I trimmed my panel to 4" x 5 1/4" and
mounted it onto a standard A2 size card made of the same card stock.  I used
fun foam on back of the panel to pop it up a bit.  I added a few random violet
and pumpkin color enamel dots and my card was done!

I love autumn colors and I may do this design in a completely different color
palette at some point.  I think it would be lovely in cool greens for a summer look!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I really appreciate your interest!

Make sure to stop by Rachel's Etsy shop!
