Happy Butterfly with Rachel Vass Designs

Hello everyone!  It's New Release day at

This is such a beautiful digistamp set!  And I love how many options
there are!

To begin I composed my images in my computer and printed them out onto
ivory card stock.  This is not coated card stock...but I wanted to try
to color my image with Copic markers.

I began my coloring keeping a very light touch.  I knew without too much
effort that this paper would bleed.  I started with the stem of the flower.  It
didn't bleed at all - which surprised me.  Next I colored the body of the
butterfly and I was less careful and it bled.

By using my Blender marker and then the pinks of the flower, the
bleeding was not too noticeable.

Copic colors used:

Pinks:  R81, R83, R85
Greens:  YG11, YG63, YG67
Yellows:  Y02, Y35, Y38, Y15
Blues:  B32, B23, B28
Blender

This image colored up quite quickly.  After I was finished with the coloring
I die cut it.  I adhered it to my base which is an A2 size top folding white base
with pink patterned paper adhered to it.
As I final embellishment, I added some shimmer pen to the middle of the
flower, the butterfly body and the blue bits on the wings.  And that
completed my project!

If you haven't checked out Rachel Vass Designs on Etsy you are definitely
missing out on some gorgeous digistamps!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I appreciate your interest and I
hope I have inspired you!
