Hello everyone! I hope you've all had a great week! Today I'm sharing a fun
design team project that I did for Topflight Stamps. I used
Hobby Art Ltd - Wheeee!
and
For The Love of Stamps - Sparkling Snowflakes
I started my card by die cutting my background panel with a Sizzix Dotted Rectangle Die
on a piece of card stock that I did the shaving cream/dye re-inker method on. If you've
ever done this, then you know it makes so many!
Next I used the die that was the next size down and cut a piece of Neenah 80 lb white
card stock and cut the top of that with a stitched sloping hill die. I also
stamped my main image in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on the same card stock.
I colored the stamped image with Copics (colors listed below) and then fussy cut it out. I heat embossed some of the smaller snowflakes with Brustus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder.
I first adhered the white die cut snow slope to the base, the adhered that to an A2 size top
folding card base horizontally. Then I added the colored image with foam tape. Next I
added little gemstones in the sky and bigger ones in the middle of the bigger snowflakes.
I added Star Dust Stickles to the snow slope. And that completed my card!
I hope I've inspired you to make your own fun version of this card!
