Silly Snowmen!

Hello everyone!  Winter's coming!  Haha...hopefully not for a few weeks yet, but today I'm sharing this adorable snowmen card using For the Love of Stamps:
Silly Snowmen

Snow is Falling

I started out with a medium blue A2 size top folding card base (side fold turned sideways!)  I cut a small oval mask where I wanted my sentiment.  I used Gina K Designs Masking Magic.

I heat embossed the upper portion of the card with the Snow is Falling stamp.  It's just shy of about 3/4" from filling the whole 4 1/4" of the card.  After I stamped the image with clear embossing ink, I removed the mask and used Brutus Monroe Alabaster embossing powder.  Where the making was, there must have been a bit of adhesive residue because there was some embossing powder
that stuck inside the oval.  However, I really liked how it looked.  I then stamped and
 heat embossed the sentiment.

Then on Neenah 80b Classic Crest Solar White card stock I stamped the snowman 3 times, the pile of snowballs 3 times and the single snowballs 3 times. I used Memento London Fog ink as I knew I would be coloring with my Copic markers.
For Copics I used:
V01, V12, V15, V17 for hats, scarves & mittens
YR61, YR04, YR07 for noses
Blender, C0, C3, C5 for boots
B0000 for snow shadows, snowmen bodies & snowballs
Once the coloring was done, I blackened the eyes with a Copic-friendly black pen and added
Stickles Frosted Lace to the furry bits on top of the boots and hats, snowballs & some of the
snowflakes in the sky.  I also used a white gel pen for details on the hats and scarves.

Once all that was dry I fussy cut them out along the inked lines.  I then die cut a piece of Neenah 80b Classic Crest Solar White card stock using a stitched scalloped wavy line for the snowy ground.  I adhered this flat to my card and then adhered the snowball piles using only 2 of the 3.
I mounted each snowman onto the card with a mini wobble spring from Hampton Art.  It makes them even sillier than they already are! I then adhered the 3 snowballs in random places in
the sky.  I used the white gel pen and more Stickles in the sky and I also added
Stickles on the snow in the foreground.
And that completed my card!

This card was so much fun to make!  I hope you give your own Silly Snowmen a try.
