Happy Spring ft. Kate Hadfield Designs

Hello everyone!  It’s spring here in the northeastern US and

I’m so glad to see some color!!!!  Today’s project is very bright

and colorful!  I’ve used products from

Kate Hadfield Designs

Springity Spring Digital Stamp Set

This digital stamp set is packed with images that you can move

around flip and size to whatever you need.  Let me show you

how I made my sweet spring card!

I started by composing my design and using paper from the

Weekend At Home digital paper set for the sky background altering the

color slightly.  I printed it out and trimmed it to a workable size.

I would do a final trim after I completed the coloring.

I used colors that were saturated and bright.  I tried to use

the same color combinations for different parts, like the sun,

bee bodies and flower centers are all the same yellow shades.

That not only cuts down on the number of markers needed

but it brings continuity to the card.

I finished the coloring quite quickly.  Once it was done I trimmed

the panel to a fit my card base.  I used letter stickers for my sentiment.

I covered an A2 size white card base with some bright yellow card

stock and adhered the trimmed colored panel.  I used Stardust Stickles on

the wings of the butterfly and bees and on the flower centers.  I used

tiny white and yellow flowers (nail art) in the grass.  I dotted the

centers of each one with an orange glitter gel pen and my card

was done!  So easy and so cute!

Cards are a great way to send someone bright and happy colors!  We

hope you’ll give it a try.  Tag us on Social Media so we can see
