Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a "Mom" inspired card
using products from
I chose to work with one of the Home Grown Happiness Card
Panels. These panels are so lovely! I started
my panel with ink blending in the clouds using a cloud stencil from
my stash and Simon Hurley's new Breakup Blue ink.
I love this new ink color!!! Next I colored my panel
with Copic markers.
I kept my colors on the softer side.
I varied my green mixes.
Copic markers used:
Grey: C0, C2, C5
Yellow: Y00, Y02, Y15
Blue/Violet: BV000, BV00, BV02, BV13
Brown: E33, E35, E37
Blue: B000, B12
Pink: R81, R83, R85, R35
Green: YG00, YG11, YG06, YG09, YG63, YG67
Blender
After the coloring was done I trimmed down my panel to
3 3/4" x 5" and backed it with black card stock that was
just slight bigger. I prepared an A2 top folding white card
base and adhered my background paper to it. The paper
measures 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".
I adhered my colored black backed panel to this card base and
Stamped my sentiment on the front with Raven Detail Ink. Then I went
over the flower jar with Glossy Accents.
After the jar was dry I added a small pink enamel heart near
the "Mom" sentiment. Then I used Stickles in Yellow and Stardust
and applied it to the flower centers and stamens and also the
dots on the banner. And that finished my card!
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial today! I love these pre-printed
panels. So easy to color! And you can foil or not!
