Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this really pretty die from
This is so pretty and intricate and yet it cuts like a dream!!!!!
Let me show you how I made my card.
I decided on my papers first. I used Sapphire Glitter card stock to
die cut the image. This large image was not the only die in this
set! There were other flowers and leaves and berry sprig!
My patterned paper was from the Pastel Deco Paper Collection. It's one
of my favorites. And that Sapphire Glitter card stock matched it sooooo well!
I cut an A2 size card base from Neenah Desert Storm card stock. I
trimmed my piece of patterned paper to 4" x 5 1/4". I placed my die in
the center of the patterned paper and cut the heart. I cut a piece from
the dark brown card stock about an 1/8" smaller than the patterned piece
and adhered it to my card base.
I placed the die cut patterned piece onto the base. I laid my die cut heart
into the opening and then took away the patterned piece whilst holding onto
the heart so it wouldn't move. Then, without totally lifting it up, I adhered
the die cut heart onto the base with liquid adhesive.
I then took my patterned piece and put foam tape on the back of it.
Then I gently adhered it on to the top of my card. Next I used dark brown glitter
glue and put drops of it into the centers of the flower die cut.
I used a sentiment from the Botanical Banners Stamp Set. I stamped the
Happy Anniversary onto a scrap of the Neenah Desert Storm.
Then I backed it with a scrap of the Sapphire Glitter card stock
and adhered it to the center of the heart on foam tape.
And that finished my card!
