I will share with you how I made this adorable card using:
This is such a cute set and I love the sentiments! To begin I arranged my
images in my computer. This included copying and pasting the honeycomb image
so I had 2 images to put together. I printed this out onto Neenah 80lb Classic
Crest Solar White card stock.
After printing it off, I cut it so that it measured 4" x 5 1/4". Next came
the coloring which I did with Copic markers.
Marker colors used:
Honeycomb: Y06, Y15, Y35, Y38
Bees: Y08 Wings: Y00
Bee Hive: Y02, Y21, E31, E33, E35
Grass: YG11, YG13, G14
Flowers: V01, V15, V04 Centers: Y15
I still though it needed something so I decided to stencil in some clouds in
the background using the Outdoor Scene Builder Stencils from Honey Bee
Stamps and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink. I didn't take the
stenciling to the bottom of the card but left a bit of room.
To add some shimmer and shine I applied some Star Dust Stickles to the
wings of the bees and some Spectrum Noir Shimmer Pen in the centers
of the flowers. I also added a bit of highlighting with a white gel pen.
And that completed my project!
