Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing another one of Jan's beautiful designs:
What an appropriate digistamp set for the times we are living in! One of my
favorite things to do is sit out on a summer's night in front of a fire with friends.
Let me show you how I created this card! I started by arranging my images in
my computer and printing it out onto Neenah Desert Storm card stock.
I cut my yardstick down to roughly the finished size of 4" x 5 1/4". Next it was time
for the coloring. I used the following Copic markers:
R05, R14, R59
BV00, BV02, BV13, BV17
YR68, YR07
Y00, Y02, Y08
YG23, G94, G29
C1, C3, C5, C7
E33, E35, E37, E49
100, 0
I kept working in layers until I had built up the desired density of color. I used the
Desert Storm paper to help with that nighttime vibe I was going for.
I used a Prismacolor white colored pencil to really make my highlights stand out. When I
was finished with the coloring I ink-blended all around the edges with Distress Ink
in Chipped Sapphire. I also lifted a bit of sky color off the sentiment with my colorless blender.
