Proud as a Peacock!

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a DT project for Topflight Stamps.  This card is so elegant and glitzy, but so incredibly easy to make!

I first stamped my Peacock image on a piece of white pearlescent card stock measuring
3 1/8" x 5".  I used MFT's Extreme Black Hybrid Ink.  I then colored the image with my Copic markers.  I kept the coloring quite simple with a minimum of blending.  I used various shades of green and blue and one brown.  When the coloring was done, I added a bit of outlining in the feathers with a Pigma Micron pen .005.

I also added some Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust in the centers of the feathers and on his neck.
Next I glued on thin strips of copper shimmer card stock cut to 1/8" x 5".  Then I glued this colored panel to a piece of green shimmer paper cut to 3 1/2" x 5", then glued the panel to a piece of blue shimmer paper measuring 3 3/4" x 5 1/16".  Then I took the entire panel with all of the glued layers and adhered to an A2 size card base from white textured pearlescent card stock.  The last thing I did was adhere some micro-bling to the curls on the sides of the feathers in deep blue.
