Hello everyone! Today I'm bringing this encouraging card that
all of us could use given the times we live in. Today I'll be using
products from
This was such a fun project to put together. It wasn't difficult and the
overall affect is so positive. Let me show you how I made my card!
I composed my images so that together they formed one image. I had
planned on fussy cutting this out so this made it very easy.
I started my coloring with the lion and the frog. The lion is the biggest
Image so I wanted to color that first. Then I colored the frog. I did decide
to add a small puddle of water under the frog to help him stand out a bit
more and then I also used that same blue marker in the fish.
I finished the coloring and fussy cut the image. Then I went around
the edges with a black marker.
Then I went to my stash to find background paper. The paper I found was
unexpected, but I thought it went really well with the vibe of the card.
I used a center-step card base for this project. I used 2 different papers
from the same paper pad for continuity. I also die cut my sentiment.
I decided to leave it white instead of coloring it to help it stand out.
the acorn, noses of the bear, lamb and lion, the hoofs of the lamb,
the eyes of the frog and his dots and the fish. I added white gel pen high-lights to
these places as well. Just to give definition to the ground that the
animals were standing on I used some fake “grass”…I think this may be
like Flower Soft, but I’m not sure. I’ve had it forever and the name of
it is “Grass In A Jar”. It’s from a company that is no longer in
business. But I thought it looked great under the animals. I
stuck it onto the card using Glossy Accents as glue. The sentiment is
also popped up on foam tape. And that finished my project!
This card was easy to make and I think it would be a great
encouragement card for a friend! You can find these great
digital stamp sets and many more at
