Get Well Soon - Sparkle Unicorn ft. Polkadoodles

Hello everyone!  Hope you are keeping healthy...unlike this poor little
unicorn!  Today I'm showing you how to make a card with products from

I love this little unicorn envelope.  I made just a panel to slip inside for
the recipient!  So easy!  Let me show you how I made my card!

I started by printing out my image onto smooth white card stock
and die cutting it with a square die from my stash.  I knew I wanted
to color this with a rainbow of colors, so I made my envelope out of
some plain purple card stock.

I used a We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board to do this.
I also used the same purple card stock and printed off my
sentiment.

I print the sentiment onto white copy paper and then lay the colored
paper over top and taped so nothing gets caught going through my
printer.  I used a small sentiment die from my stash for this.

I started my coloring.  I painted the horn first so I could identify the
color mixes I would use.  I made a few changes along the way but I kept
them fairly simple.

I used a pale blue for the unicorn body.  I didn't want it to be gray and
the blue just gives a nice shadow.

I tried to balance my colors evenly.

I added the colored panel with holographic peel-offs and chose a
pink patterned backing paper and backed that with holographic
paper.
Copic markers used:  B000, Y00, Y02, YG11, YG03, YG01, YG63,
B32, B23, V01, V04, YR00, YR02, R81, R83, R85, RV10, Y15,
C1, B05, V05, R35
Once all the coloring was done I adhered all the layers to my
envelope and then just made a single panel card to go inside.
I used a postage stamp die from my stash and used the same
holographic paper.  Then I die cut the inside panel using pink
patterned paper.  I made up a sentiment and printed it onto a white
panel from a smaller postage stamp die.  I added my sentiment to
the envelope and popped it up on foam tape.  I added 3 small
pink hearts.  For the inner panel I added some sparkly paper
flowers in pink.  And that finished my card.

I hope I've inspired you to make a get well envelope and get
well panel to send to someone in your life who is sick.  It's sure to
put a smile on their face!  You can find this digital stamp and so
many more at

Til next time...
