Hello everyone! Hope everyone is settling into the new year. Today I'm
sharing how I made this adorable snow couple card using products from
This image is so adorable! It would make a great anniversary card! Let
me show you how I made this project.
I first composed and printed out my images onto white card stock.
Time to start coloring - my favorite part! 😉. There really wasn't a lot
of coloring on this image. But before I started to color, I chose my background
paper so I could color match.
The main color of the image would be pink, so I wanted to make sure
that it matched.
I started with that main color and used it for the hat, mittens,
scarves and the tiny heart above the birds, which I ended up
not using.
I used a blue to shade the snow couple and used the same on the birds.
Images are all colored! Copic colors used: YR15, YR04, YR07, YR00,
R81, R83, R85, R37, B0000, B000, B00, B02, W2, W3, W5, C1, C3, C5, C7.
I decided the background needed a bit of texture so I used a 3D embossing
folder from my stash.
I didn't color the band or pom poms on the hat as I wanted it
to be glittery. I used some Stickles to achieve this.
I fussy cut the images and then went around the edges with a black
marker so it would have a more finished look.
I found a die in my stash to sit the birds on and I used white glitter paper
for that. I also used it for a border snowflake die that I snipped the tails
off and adhered the snowflake part to the bottom of the snow couple. I
adhered all of the elements on and then added the tails of the snow that
I had snipped off. As a final touch I added tiny pink gems around the
hearts in the background for some added sparkle!
This little digital stamp set is so cute! I could have gone with any color
palette, but I've been really looking at the pink snow cards on social
media, wondering if I could do that! You can find this digital stamp
set and so many more at
Til next time...
