Spring Daffodils with Rachel Vass Designs

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing more inspiration from the
April 2021 New Release from:

This is such a pretty set!  Yellow is not one of my favorite colors, but the
designs in this set are just screaming for yellow!
Let me show you how I made my mini slimline card.
I first composed my image in the computer and printed it out onto
Neenah 80lb. Classic White card stock.

My plan was to color the image with Copic markers and fussy cut it.

I usually go to Google Images to find color inspiration.

I kept the coloring fairly simple.

Copic colors used:
Yellow:  Y00, Y11, Y02
Yellow/Green:  YG91, YG95
Yellow/Orange:  Y17, Y38, YR07
Green:  YG11, YG63, YG67
Once the coloring was done, I fussy cut my image and then went
around the edges with a black water-based marker.

Next I prepared my card base.  My white card base measures
3" x 6 1/4".  I cut 2 panels of patterned paper 1/4" smaller
than the base.  Then I cut those on a diagonal.

I decided to add a thin black peel-off in-between the 2 papers
to give the diagonal a bit of definition.  I die cut my sentiment
with a dotted rectangle die from Spellbinders.  I adhered this
flat to my card.  Then I adhered my flower above that - again
gluing it flat.  I didn't add any shimmery bits at all. 😮

I hope you enjoyed this simple Thank You card!

Thank you so much for taking the time to stop by!
I hope I've inspired you to create something beautiful!
