A New Challenge with Jan's Digistamps Challenges

Hello everyone!  Today I'm bringing you fresh inspiration for
I'm using:
To begin, I composed my images on my computer and printed them out onto
Neenah 80lb Classic Crest Solar White card stock.

I wanted to color this image with my Copic markers.  I used the colored image
contained in the stamp set as a guide.

I used more than one green blend for the leaves.

Copic colors used:
Leaves:  YG91, YG63, YG95
G82, G94, G99
YG23, YG17
Pears:  YG00, Y02, YG11, YG06, Y21
Raspberries:  R22, R27
All Stems:  E37
Apples:  R14, R17, R59, Y38
Peaches: R02, R05
Grapes: V01, V04, V15, V09, RV34
Inside the Wreath:  Y000, Y00, Y21

After the coloring was finished I fussy cut the image.  I prepared an A2 size
top folding card base from Whitewash cardstock from Brutus Monroe.  My
background paper is from Honey Bee - Fall Festival.  This panel measures
4" x 5 1/2".  I used foam tape to adhered the wreath to the center of the
panel, added some pearls and my card was done!

What a nice way to brighten someone's day!

Mid-Month Inspiraiton for Jan's Digistamps Challenge

Hello everyone!  It's mid-October already and it's time for some
mid-month inspiration for

Today I'm using:

This is a awesome digistamp set, wonderful sentiments and 2 great images.

To start I composed & sized my image in the computer and printed it out onto
Neenah 80lb. Classic Crest Solar White card stock.

I decided to use Copic markers for the coloring.  I love how vibrant fall colors are
when using Copics.

Even though the colorways I chose were muted they still appear to be lively!

Copic markers used:
Tub: C1, C2, C3, C5, C7, Blender
Sign:  E21, E31, E33, E35, E37, E47, W0, W1
Pumpkins:  Y17, YR15, YR18, E19
Stems:  YG91, YG95, Y28
Gourd:  Y21, Y28, YR31
Corn Husks:  Y00, Y21, YG91, YG95
Corn:  Y15, BV23, BV25, R59, R02, YR04

Once the coloring was complete and fussy cut, I made my card.  My base is an A2 size white
card base.  I adhered a piece of textured solid orange that measures 4 1/8" x 5 1/2".
On top of that I adhered my plaid piece which measures 3 1/4" x 5 1/2". Along
the edges of the plaid piece I used dark green mirror peel-offs.

Placed my focal image in the middle using foam tape.  For embellishments I used
dark red enamel dots and a very small twine bow.  And that completed my card!

I hope you enjoyed today's project.  I just love making fall cards.  This set from
Jan's Digi Stamp Shop is gorgeous along with many other sets.

Mid-Month Inspiration with Jan's Digistamps Challenge

Hello everyone!  Time for some mid-month inspiration for

Jan's Digistamps Challenges Blog!

This is a beautiful stamp set and I love Jan's take on it!  Let me show you
how I made my card!
I started by printing out my image onto Neenah 80lb. Classic Crest Solar
White card stock.  I also printed out a sentiment but did use it.
I decided to color my image with Copic markers and I had already chosen my
background paper so I had a color palette in mind.

I kept the coloring pretty simple.

Copic markers used:

Leaves:  YG91, G21, G85, G94
Branches:  E15, E59
Pears:  Y21, Y35, Y38, Y28, R02
Vase:  BG70, BG72, E08, E15

I chose a patterned piece of paper from the Falling Leaves Paper Pad from
Unity Stamp Company.  I trimmed it down to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and adhered it
to a standard white top folding A2 size card base.
I die cut my colored panel with a dotted rectangle die that measures
3 1/2" x 4 3/4" and adhered it flat to the card center.  I though that this might
make a good sympathy card so I didn't embellish it or put a sentiment on it.
I think it just makes a nice soft statement.

I hope you found some inspiration in today's tutorial.  Find this stamp
set and 2 other new stamps sets in Jan's Shop

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I appreciate your interest!
