Hello Spring with Brutus Monroe

Hello everyone!  Today I'm sharing a bit of spring with products from

This was such a fun card to put together!  I love playing with Glitterstock!  Plus
I unearthed my Brother Scan N Cut!  So I used several cut files found in the

I started by cutting my flowers from the Heart Flower Cut File.  This file cuts
the outline of the flower, the stem, the heart leaf, the center of the flower and a solid
back for the flower and also inner pieces of the flower.  I used the solid background
piece and the center piece of the flower.  I cut all outlines, stems and leaves in green
Glitterstock. I cut all centers in gold Glitterstock and I used 3 different colors for
the background pieces that make up the flowers.  I did size down the file before cutting.

I used the green Glitterstock again to cut the sentiment Hello Spring.  This cut file has a
shadow piece for around the letters.  But I chose not to use that and just used
the plain letters instead.

I made an A2 size top folding card base from white card stock.  I cut a panel
from the Spring Flowers Paper Collection to 4" x 5 1/4".  I cut another panel
from the green Glitterstock that measures 4 1/8" x 5 3/8".  I adhered these 2
panels to my white card base.

I needed to adhere my sentiment first.  I used tweezers to hold them while I
applied liquid adhesive.  I laid them all out on my card base and then I carefully
picked each letter up, applied the glue and set it on my card...all the while
holding my breath!!!!!!

The Glitterstock cut so cleanly in my Scan N Cut.  I didn't have any
problems with the letters at all!
I adhered my flowers along the bottom and popped up the middle flower
head with foam tape...I used liquid adhesive for the stem and leaf.
My card really didn't need any embellishing!

This was such an easy card to make and you could make this as a
slimline by making the sentiment bigger!

You can find the cut files, Glitterstock and Paper Collection at

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I appreciate your
time and interest!
