Perfect Peony with Polkadoodles

Hello everyone!  Today I'm bringing you more Spring goodness with
this gorgeous digital stamp set from

I am so ready for warmer weather and flowers!  I love peonies and this
stamp set is gorgeous!  Let me show you how I made my card project.
I sized my peony image in the computer and then my digital paper behind
that flower cluster.  I love digital stamps and being able to print off the
stamp along with the background paper in one printing.

My sentiment was printed underneath this panel just on the white part of the
paper.  I used white card stock to print this out.  I trimmed up my image
somewhat just to make it easier to move around as I colored.

I started with the peony in the back.  I liked it but it was a bit dark so
I decided to color the other 2 flowers lighter.

In between coloring the flowers with my Copic markers, I added just
a few layers of green to the stems and leaves.  This gave me a better
perspective as I was coloring.

Because the background was a saturated shade of green, it could
support the brighter pinks of the peony.  Copic colors used:
RV02, RV55, RV000, R39, R20, R85, R32, R37, R35, R83,
Y02, Y15, G82, YG11, YG63

I used some of the lighter pinks to color the sentiment before I die cut it.

I die cut the colored panel so it measures 4" x 5 1/4".  I used a white card
stock card base that was top folding and adhered bright pink card stock to it.
I adhered my sentiment across the bottom of the colored panel.  I added a
few pretty pink confetti sequins to complete the card!

I love the bright colors of this card.  You can find this wonderful digital
stamp set bundle and many more at

Til next time...
